Pains and Regrets

Truly, nobody deserves to be born in Nigeria, it's an unending horror movie, a very badly written tragicomedy.

Darkness

For the longest time I've never believed in Nigeria and always had regrets for my life as a Nigerian, and what a black Tuesday today's been, reminding me of it all. One way or another way, never will I bring someone else to experience life as a Nigerian, it's pure and absolute hell. I've always been ready for death and when I die wherever I'm going to I know it's not hell cos I've already been there. I'm David and I was a Nigerian born into hell.

Is This The Revolution Yet?

First the protests and prayer walks. Then the backlash and tinder. Next the revolution and true change. Immediately after my last post, Nigerian youths stood up unprecedentedly and are demanding for an end to bad governance, police brutality and the evils all too common in Nigeria. Will this be the change we want, I want, the revolution that will make the government accountable to the citizens and afraid of them. Guess I will have to see, but for the first time in my life I've hope and for the first time in a while I've prayed and made peace with my creator, because I just might not see the end of it all. I've always been dead but waiting for the right call to give my death to and it might just be now. "The price of freedom is high, it always has been. And it's a price I'm willing to pay. And if I'm the only one, then so be it." The Winter Soldier.

Home

I've never felt at home in Nigeria nor felt at home for years. Guess this world or Nigeria is just not my home.

My Pain

My pain is always in me, creeping up on me like a deadly snake waiting to strike.  My pain is me and I'm it.  ALWAYS REMEMBER MY PAIN.

Quote for Today

There are truly evil men and to stop them a few good men must always be willing to rise up and become as evil as them.

The Nigerian

 I was born dead.

Immortality

Nobody lives forever, neither the oppressor nor the oppressed. Death comes for us all in the end, I was dead and now I become death. (D.N.A)

Vanity, Liberty and Death

Better to be dead than to be a Nigerian, and those lucky to not be born Nigerians are most fortunate of all. As once said, "give me liberty or give me death", either I become free of Nigeria and Nigerians, or better yet be dead, both are far better compared to living the meaningless lives most Nigerians live.
